Larry McNeil
Larry McNeil is a Photographer, Artist and Scholar. He has been teaching photography since 1992, exhibits his work on a regular basis both nationally and internationally, and stays active as a scholar with research and published material. He has earned many awards for his photography and scholarship, including fellowships and purchase awards for various museum collections.
His best known body of work is the “Fly by Night Mythology” series, which is still ongoing. It has recently been expanded to include newer works having to do with the global climate crisis. He has authored chapters in various texts and enjoys being a visiting artist at many universities. He has lived all over the West, including Alaska, California, New Mexico and now Idaho.
